NaKniSweMo Day 1

I cast on for the sweater today!  I’m so excited.  I knit 2,326 stitches before calling it a night.  I have no idea how many stitches are in the entire sweater, though, and I also don’t know if I’ll be able to maintain this pace on work days.

I guess we’ll see how things go from here.  But I consider that to be a strong start.

do you actually count your stitches??

it is just so totally adorable that you and dan are both taking part in some sort of Month where you both have a completed project at the end of something that you love to do!! and that it’s the same month! you can encourage each other on even though you are doing two totally different things!

i am really getting a kick out of this!

    love! val!

Val – I didn’t count, I just multiplied stitches per round by number of rounds. Yay math!

I love that we’re doing this together, too! When I found out about the sweater knitting month, I knew I had to do it. This way I’m not just sitting around feeling lonely while Dan’s writing for a couple of hours a night.

Aren’t those pictures funny? That’s become one of my stops for a daily laugh, along with, of course, Sometimes they’re funny, and even when they aren’t, there are at least cute babies or kitties, depending on which site it is. :)
